Rich Little Hens Guide
by Light & Wonder
A sibling to the popular Rich Little Piggies, this highly volatile slot features three colorful hens (White, Purple, and Red) that get plump as their bonuses power up.
When to Play
How the Feature Works
Rich Little Hens plays almost identically to its predecessor, Rich Little Piggies. The game features three progressive bonuses, represented by White, Purple, and Red Hens and their nests. During play, Question Mark (?) symbols can reveal colored coins, which flip up to the nests. A coin can randomly trigger the corresponding bonus, increase its power, or do nothing.
The three bonus features are:
- White Hen (Free Games): This hen accumulates free spins. It functions exactly like the Blue Pig, starting from a base number and growing with each collected coin.
- Purple Hen (Jackpot Bonus): This hen's bonus is a jackpot-hunting feature. During its free spins, you collect special coins on the reels to win one of six jackpots. It is functionally the same as the Yellow Pig.
- Red Hen (Wild Multiplier Bonus): Instead of collecting a set number of wilds, the Red Hen accumulates a wild multiplier (e.g., 2x, 3x, 4x, 5x). When its bonus is triggered, this multiplier is applied to wins involving wild symbols during the free spins.
Combined Bonus Triggers:
The most powerful aspect of the game is triggering multiple hens at once. When this happens, their features are combined, and the number of free spins you play is determined by the total stored by the White Hen. If the Purple or Red hens trigger on their own, they default to a much lower base of just 7 free spins.
What to Be Careful About
- Suggested bankroll: 750 units.
- Visual Trap: Just like in the original, the hens getting visually fatter does not mean the bonus is any more likely to trigger.
