Game Features & Mechanics

The game is built around five persistent prize chests, each corresponding to the reel directly below it, and a character that digs towards each chest.

Building Value & Digging: When a Gold Nugget symbol lands on a reel, it does two things:

1. It adds its credit value to the corresponding chest above.
2. It has a random chance to make the character for that reel dig down one level, moving closer to the chest.

The Reset Mechanic (Character Moves Up): This feature creates the game's volatility. A character's progress is not permanent and will reverse if you fail to land nuggets on its reel.

• The Timer: If 4 consecutive spins occur without a nugget landing on a specific reel, a penalty process begins.
• The "Mouse Hand" Visuals: The game shows your "no-nugget" streak on the chest:
  • 1 spin (no nugget) = 1 mouse hand appears.
  • 2 spins (no nugget) = 2 mouse hands appear.
  • 3 spins (no nugget) = A mouse head appears.
• Moving Up: After the 3rd "no-nugget" spin, the character will move up one level for every subsequent spin that also fails to land a nugget on that reel.
• Full Reset: If the character moves all the way back to the top and another "no-nugget" spin occurs, the entire accumulated value in that chest is reset to zero, and the character changes.
