Game Features & Mechanics

The main objective in Hyper Orbs is to trigger the Free Spins bonus. This can be achieved in one of two ways.

  • Orb Collection Bonus Trigger: The primary feature is a persistent orb meter. When orb symbols land on the reels, they are collected in a meter that requires 15 orbs to fill. Once the 15th orb is collected, the Free Spins bonus is triggered.
  • Scatter Symbol Bonus Trigger: The bonus can also be triggered by landing two special Free Spins scatter symbols simultaneously on reels 2 and 4. A key element is that these scatter symbols are persistent; when one lands, it will lock in place for a specific number of spins (indicated by the number within the symbol), increasing the chance of landing the second one to trigger the bonus.

The Free Spins Bonus: When the bonus is triggered, you are awarded 12 free spins. All the orbs you have collected are then used to enhance the reels. Each orb randomly selects a reel and expands its height by one position, up to a maximum of three additional rows per reel. This increases the total ways-to-win for the duration of the bonus. Because the game only pays from left-to-right, having reels expand on the left side of the screen is more advantageous than on the right.

What to Be Careful About

  • Suggested bankroll: 250 units.
  • RTP Impact: The profitability of the orb count can be affected by the machine's RTP setting. Stick to the minimum number of orbs to be safe, especially if you are unsure of the machine's specific payback percentage.
