Frankenstein Guide
by Light & Wonder
Classic monster comes to life with its shocking "It's Alive" feature. The gameplay revolves around a persistent array of prizes above the reels, which can be supercharged with valuable multipliers via "Power Up" symbols, leading to electrifying wins.
When to Play
Game Features & Mechanics
The game screen features a persistent array of prizes above the main reels. These prizes are divided into two types: Jackpot Prizes (with orange flames) and Credit Prizes (with blue electricity).
Building Multipliers: During the base game, landing a "Power Up" symbol on the first reel will randomly select one of the prizes above and increase its multiplier. The multiplier can increase by 1x to 5x from a single Power Up symbol, up to a maximum cap of 10x on any individual prize.
The "It's Alive" Feature: The main bonus is triggered by landing an "It's Alive" symbol on reel 1 combined with one or more Frankenstein head symbols on reels 2 through 5.
- When triggered, each Frankenstein head on the reels will shoot electricity up to a random prize in the array above, instantly awarding you that prize.
- If the awarded prize has a multiplier, the prize value is multiplied accordingly.
The multipliers are tiered based on the symbol's value in the paytable. The highest-paying symbols are assigned the most powerful multipliers (8x, 6x, and 5x), while all the lower-paying symbols are assigned a much weaker 3x multiplier. After the 8-spin countdown expires, the multiplier is removed from the symbol.
What to Be Careful About
- Suggested bankroll: 250 units.
- Prize Volatility: The smaller blue credit prizes are easier to hit during the "It's Alive" feature. Therefore, having multipliers spread across these smaller prizes offers a lower-variance play with a higher chance of a solid return. Multipliers concentrated only on the large orange jackpots are a higher-risk, higher-reward chase.
- Grand Jackpot Exception: Be aware that the Grand Jackpot is a wide-area progressive and is only available on wagers of $3 or more. Multipliers cannot be applied to the Grand Jackpot prize.
